Is there a peaceful method that doesn't look like a suicide?

While it isn't going to stop me. I would like for others to think I didn't kill myself. Is there a peaceful method that won't look like suicide?


Because people are thinking I'm talking only about suicide on a death certificate. I'm talking about even down to someone walking on your corpse and not thinking it was suicide.
Also it needs to be noted I don't drink, smoke, or get high. Those methods would bring up more questions, and I want to make it seem as normal as possible

Nope At least I don't think there is. If someone on here knows anything different I would love to hear it.
I don't know how painful drowning would be if you got high or drunk but people might assume it was an accidental death.

Inert gas asphyxiation with an exit bag will provide a termination that cannot be identified as a suicide, unless you still had the bag on your head. An autopsy report cannot indicate your cause of death. Medical literature even dating back from the 1870s were aware of this when euthanizing animals.

This is legally a grey area and it's possible if someone removes your exit bag that they would have assisted in your suicide. Final Exit has some comments on this in their books but that pertains to exclusively U.S. law. Final Exit also is not qualified to give any legal advice either. Consider it a stepping stone in research.

I'm not qualified to speak on this but it's possible through an experienced medical examiner to see if your overdose was intentional or accidental. Intentional in this case indicates suicide on a death certificate.

I don't do drugs. So that's highly abnormal for me. Plus I wouldn't know how to get it even if I wanted to.
Lastly, I don't want to be remembered as a drug addicted or a drunk.

As someone said drowning. If you are a climber, you could make it look like a climbing accident; you could make it look like you drove your motorcycle or car off a cliff depending on where you live (being careful not to endanger anyone in the process). You could poison yourself accidentally with SN some way surely; you could make it look like you tried chemistry experiments lol but that depends on what type of person you are; you could also fall off a cliff hiking; you could make partial look like erotic asphyxiation intentionally (by pulling down your pants and leaving pornhub open on your browser)

I don't drink or get high either so when I go people will know it was a suicide. I wish there were a way to make my death look accidental.
I think I may have asked this question when I first joined S.S. … I can't remember what all the responses were.






That's the problem. I can't remove the bag if I'm dead.

I'm sure if you had someone remove the bag they would be in a lot of trouble if they were caught.

carbon monoxide poisoning could be one of method that will make it look like an accident. I've seen many people accidentally died from CO poisoning. It could be peaceful method but far from reliable method.

To be honest, I'm not sure you can achieve this. I do wonder why it is of concern though, if you are not around to witness the aftermath?

This is why it won't stop me. But while several people around me has put me through hell. I don't want to trouble them anymore than I need to. I believe if they know I off myself, then it could be traumatic to my parents beyond their kid dying.

I feel the same... I didn't want to add additional pain to my parents because they will know it was suicide.

I have thought about this a lot. I think the main thing holding me back is the impact on family knowing I took my own life. But then someone in another thread, about a "fun" method, made a comment about wearing a clown outfit and I just broke down laughing.

If I were found wearing a clown outfit I am 100% certain that no one who knows me would ever get past this fact. I could be hanging from a noose, or have a bag over my head, or have a needle stuck in my arm - and all anyone would talk about is "WTF was he doing in a clown outfit?"

This would be so out of character for me. No one would believe that I willingly put on a clown outfit. Even when I was a kid I never got dressed up for Halloween.

So I think doing something so out of character that would confuse those left behind is the best way to do it.

Great ideas, but all painful. I looked into skydiving, but you need to go through a bunch of training and what not to do it. And it seems to be kinda easy to tell if someone off themselves or if something went wrong.

CO poisoning with charcoal grill....you can make it look like you wante to do a BBQ in your room because the weather outside was too shitty ! How could you possibly have known that the CO from the burning of the coals would kill you? Poor thing....the other good news is that's totally pain-free, you juts get drowsy fall asleep, and BYE !
