tbf i do think its a valid concern as 52% is, ultimately, real, and 4tran is 4tran at the end of the day. logically you can't base your entire identity and selfworth around a board of all things, but 1. god if things were that simple 2. people have a right to choose their own poison. i do dislike how its used to fearmonger though. its just [mostly] trans women being transphobic towards themselves and others. not exactly mind-blowing or unexpected, but it is a very "bad" (depending on how you see it) environment for, say, an egg, or an already selfhating trans person, to constantly be in. like all things in excess!!!! but ya ur not insta nor permadoomed if you just browse for the lulz... the thing is when it becomes Habit and the Habit becomes Thought

honestly i'd just make your own website. even in edgy spaces you're going to deal with some extra bullshit that will stress you out more. you can start with a basic website then if you'd like learn how to make your own forum.

This is true. I am actually going to be doing this because I want people to have somewhere they can go to find me when I get banned from websites. Will probably use neocities but apparently theres also something called nekoweb that I am going to look into

i think self hosting too would be a good solution so you don't have to deal with the regulations that come with using another organisations services. but i understand it takes money and resources, plus some time reading up and playing around. regardless though yeah sounds like a good start. i used to have a website but got paranoid, yet i still update the unpublished html file to this day or use excel. i used to post on other boards but every place on the internet with more than 1 person has its own rules and culture even if unsaid and i think for some of us being alone or in a place where others can't alienate us since they can't just reply or whatever is ok. when i was using discord with people i had found on 4chan i really had to cut every person off by the time i was 16-18 because i didn't want to be in the same circles as child abusers (and alot of people who were otherwise ok to meh people didn't see the problem with hanging around those guys plus all of them 5-10 years older than me), and there was a lot of petty drama. i don't intend on going back no matter how lonely i get. i'm just projecting here now but yea best of luck, i've seen some of your post history and i understand needing a space to just bag it out

if you end up going with neocities, i would just double check the privacy and interaction settings on ur site.

Those forums suck and some of the ppl on them are literally on here already. I see them occasionally. I'm pretty sure they don't allow women on any of those sites either, we are their #1 enemy. Im pretty sure it's just gross ppl who go on there

Fair point and I agree with it. It's irritating as hell, for example, that most of us here use the term CTB over suicide, and that's just the most common example. There's way too many code words and acronyms here that I just can't be bothered with it. Yeah I don't care what some retard thinks is a "dog whistle" especially as someone who isn't in the know about internet culture. this is half right. it depends on wording. saying "a transsexual/transexual/transgender"/"transsexuals/transexuals/transgenders" is typically seen as speech coming from someone who's more or less traditional and right leaning, due to the dehumanizing and outdated nature of the term. thats just how it is. saying "a trans person" or "trans people" is, in fact, the more correct way to address said group of people. akin to saying "a gay", or "the gays"

x/twitter or chans or kiwi farms, acquired tastes like NEET or looksmaxxing sites. those places are usually way less censored. there's always the dark web i guess if that's what you're into. I also agree with others about hosting ur own website or blog if you would like.
