if you find one please let me know. I've been smoking weed for years and it just doesn't do it the same anymore.
I've genuinely started to consider using kratom as a replacement. from my understanding its very similar to opioids and often used by opioid addicts as a way to lean off them or a replacement. they're still very addictive though. but at this point, fuck it...
Some of my favorite drugs to feel better:
1. Ketamine is very fun in terms of euphoria and dissociation (the nice, pleasant kind). I find it similar to alcohol but much better. Studies even show some antidepressant effects after (medical and controlled) use. The downside: its addictive psychologically and heavy, long-term use is associated to severe kidney problems. Its also expensive for a 1-2h high and tolerance builds up quickly.
2. Magic mushrooms and psychedelics are more unique. They make you hallucinate visually but its more than just their visuals, they can bring about random euphoria and an urge to laugh for no reason. A random painting might become the most interesting thing you've seen in the past year.
I dont recommend them if you're an anxious person or at risk of psychotic disorders (schizophrenia) due to the fact that, while they can make you very euphoric and happy, they can also make you "bad trip", which is basically having unpleasant hallucinations or having intense feelings such as fear and paranoia. They also last for a while, usually 4-6 hours for mushrooms or ~12 hours for lsd.
If you're interested in that sort of thing, I recommend doing some research on psilocybin, lsd and dmt among others.
3. Poppers (amyl nitrite) make me very relaxed. I usually use them when Im having a panic attack. They have risks if used wrong but they're used medically as vasodilators so it's not sniffing diesel either. They are instant and last about a 1-5 minutes. I know a couple of people who tried it irl and most use it as a panic attack med. There is no known addiction risk.
4. Benzodiazepines and opioids: anxiolytic, euphoric and calming, they're my favorites for more "passive" highs. They're sedatives so they don't necessarily make you more social or anything. They are highly addictive and might make things worse when you're not on them so be careful.
Thats my top 4, I havent tried that many things tho and some people might hate ketamine or prefer (euphoric) stimulants over sedatives.
