There's SN being sold on the jungle site, but I wanted to know if it was real or a scam. Does anyone know?

@nys you might want to edit the title and your original post as your mentioning a potential source. Unless buying from some sketchy individual, this is not a product that has any reason to be sold under false pretences.
Anyways, SN is not an illicit substance. It's used for a countless number of purposes.
Just be sure your looking at Sodium Nitrite and NOT Sodium Nitrate, as they are not the same substance.

If you live in NA you shouldn't have any issue. I've personally received the real deal from that site this year. Just be sure to check reviews, and pay close attention to the product descriptions. I originally purchased Sodium Nitrate instead of the life go bye-bye salt we all want, but that was entirely my own fault.

I just want to say thanks to @nys for making this post. We're all aware of the jungle site and I think it's helpful to know about it so we can make potentially better choices and access.
I think it is listed on .'US', but not on the sister site in my country, for example.

With all the sellers of SN here, I'm sure someone ships abroad. Even if a seller doesn't ship directly to Europe, there are thousands of package forwarding services in the US that ship to Europe.
Because SN is disappearing from everywhere. If you can still get it easily as a private person in the US, lucky you.
The package forwarding services do not forward chemicals. :(
You look hard enough there are tons of companies that ship internationally, also SN is very easy to get in the US.
I've looked for 2 days now and can only find companies that sell huge quantities to other companies, labs, schools and the like. None to private persons and none that ship to Europe.
Some of these websites will ask for a business name but if you just click skip or click next it will go to the order page.

There are many online sources besides lab supply shops that sell SN. Culinary, biofuel and spice shops sell SN as well.
Besides lab grade SN, there is also food grade SN.
SN is not some super powerful, dangerous and hard to find chemical, its a basic inorganic salt, that is both man-made and naturally occurring.

Sorry. New here. And I know we aren't supposed to give sources. But is "Jungle" a reference to A-to-Z company? I only ask coz I've searched on the "A" site for here in Canada and it's definitely not available. I'm not sure if it's a Canadian legal thing, or just a company decision by pressure/request of government/medical professionals due to all the recent increase in SN CTB incidents??
It is definitely a government pressure thing. The jungle site is facing the same pressure in the US, so SN will likely disappear from there too.
