Apart from the commandment not to kill, there's nothing in the bible that forbids suicide. If "God is love" (1 John 4 v 8), then he'll want your suffering to stop, if it's unbearable.

People who are really Christians do not support hate or discrimination towards gay people. People who do that in name of Christianity are not doing what their religion teaches. How am I oppressed by Christians irl? Ever heard of institutional homophobia & hate crimes against gay people?
Is that an order?Wanna perform an exorcism on me?

I think for me its time to evacuateDisclaimer: This is my view and nothing more.
Sin is anything that seperates one from the Kingdom of Heaven (reality). Being a follower of the Heaven's Gate teachings, I believe that our overcoming of human ways and behaviors is not a moral issue, but a behavioral one. Those who are ready to make that step, will desire to leave behind all vestiges of the human kingdom because they recognize that they are simply not compatible with the evolutionary level above. This transition therefore requires the individual to first have an awakening, followed by exercising their free will. What humans do is a combination of the programming they've received during the course of their lives, their genetic package and the influence of discarnates / people who have passed away but still cling to this world in the spirit world. The idea is that souls are given the opportunity to reincarnate until those in the Next Level determine (by their standards) that a soul has consistently made poor choices, and so is fit only to be recycled/ destroyed. There is much more to this, and I don't have all the answers but it's food for thought.
I agree with this. I have had a spiritual experience with Christ, and it was pure love and the purest peace and compassion. Why someone is the way they are is totally understood and they are loved so much. I wish I could feel that all the time. I have heard from people who have near death experiences that we often have to feel the pain we have caused others, and also the good. So a big reason why I don't want to CTB is because I don't want to hurt my family.Nope.
Those who have had profound spiritual experiences have stated that suicide is not a sin.
Those who have had spiritual experiences have stated that what we think of as God has love and understanding for all that he has created.
According to them, it is not God's grandest wish that people commit suicide but that love, compassion and understanding is offered to those not only suffering from physical illness but also severe depression and other forms of mental illness.
There are those who say that Jesus Christ's death could be construed as a suicide. That he sought attention and offered himself up as a martyr.
If there is a Heaven and you get there by committing suicide will you have to answer for ending your own life? Possibly. Unforgivable sin? Banished to hell? No.
(Many say that he'll does not exist, it is of our own making, you only go to hell if you feel you belong there and that everyone gets a shot at redemption.)
From what I can gather the universal powers that be would prefer that we do the best we can to regain our health and overcome our suicidal thoughts and feelings but if a person is simply just too sick with depression and other psychological ailments that they are looked upon the same as a person who died of a terminal illness.
I don't believe in all that religion stuff. The reality is. Is that you where born in this world without your consent or even the slightest clue of what you where really born into. I tried to believe in the religion thing but it doesn't make any sense to me? "God says these!" or "God says you can't do that!" If he really didn't want us to do it, then why did slavery happen? Why did 9/11 happen? I just don't get it. It's not a stupid sin it's your life. Don't worry about some BS religion tell you what to do. In my eyes it's all BS.Where is it in the Bible? What are God's thoughts?
In Judaism it tends to be different, if you commit suicide, God forgives you depending on the reasons why you committed suicideA couple years ago, I remember seeing on YouTube a video of a small old Christian lady in a church, talking to the camera about how god is forgiving and that there is a whole scripture about suicide as being noble in old Christian texts. Now I really wish I saved that video.
