Hey chuds and chudettes,
I've recently read a bit about suicide by cop and I'm wondering if that's actually something that could work or if it's mostly just a fantasy some people have. Any information/help is appreciated!

Idk but I imagine cops will only shoot to kill if you are directly lethally threatening them, otherwise they will shoot to make you ineffective. At least that's what I'm figuring.

Maybe if you take a hostage and they have a sniper shoot you in the head but i don't think it's very kind to traumatize others. I carry a lot of childhood trauma with me and I wouldn't wish any of it on anyone who isn't a violent criminal.

any kind of suicide that involves someone else killing you(not counting MAID obv), in my opinion, is wrong. its also more likely you'll end up getting arrested and have to deal with the aftermath of those charges. someone here already linked it but there was a thread about this a bit ago. there was a reply in there from a former cop(or someone who at least knew cops, i cant remember fully) and he went into detail onto why its a bad idea.

Keep in mind only 55% of people shot by police die. Not exactly a gamble you should be willing to take. Plus if you die it might not be quick and painless, and if you live there's a good chance you'll end up disabled.
