A handshake of carbon monoxide

I received my SN today. It's a 500g plastic bottle with a sealed screw-top, wrapped in plastic. So, it's definitely never been opened. But when I shook the bottle, it sounded like there were clumps of rocks in there, like large ones. I've read that pure SN can clump up due to not having any anti-caking agents but it literally sounds like bricks. I don't want to open it until my testing kit arrives but now I'm wondering if I should order from somewhere else just to be sure. Did anyone have a similar experience with their SN?

P.S.- PMing me for source won't help since mine's a local source that won't ship overseas.

I don't know but mine is also in pretty big chunks in a bag. As you've said, it's probably due to the lack of anti-caking agents.

Same here, 500g plastic bottle, lab grade. Never been opened but if you shake it you can clearly hear big clumps inside.
If it's lab grade and you have a datasheet or certificate of analysis I wouldn't bother searching for a new vendor. If you're really anxious about it then consider testing it with an aquarium kit. Don't worry about opening it for a test, it won't degrade that quickly. Just reseal the container the way you received it and store it in a cool, dry place.
In case your test reveals low purity then you can search for a new vendor. This is as rational as I can be

Absolutely the same as you, never opened and I can hear the clumps inside of it plus I got a COA too. Bought two honestly because one will be for ctb day.

Yeah, it's normal for them to have chunks, it happens months after the manufacturing date but it doesn't mean anything is wrong with it.

I have two different sources actually, but didn't feel comfortable enough with the first one so I kept searching until I found some lab-grade stuff.
We had a brief conversation in my first thread and you advised me to do so. Thanks again for that
