Yes, stick with a slipknot or noose knot. Never consider the hangman's for full, which won't cinch as well as the above. That's only for the long drop executions where the idea is to break the neck and thus the noose needs greater strength. As for the anchor, stick with a double constrictor knot, or if possible, use a carabiner.
