• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Suicide is an often discussed topic but I've often wondered other people's opinions on self harm as most of the pro lifers believe it is wrong

I would say it is not. As at the end of the day it prevents you from going completely insane or trapped within your mind's burdens.

Fuck anyone who says it's wrong! If someone says self harm is wrong, they are 100% certifiable cunts.

Even pro lifers generally don't say self harm is wrong.

Anyone who says self harm is wrong has absolutely zero compassion

People who say it is wrong are not living in the same world I am. 😔

No. Its something you do out of desperation for relief. I do it too. My left arm is filled with fresh cuts. July was a really bad month for me.

It's almost always not "wrong", ideally other coping mechanisms get used (since it can be dangerous) but this is the real world, and mild, controlled injury is only moderately risky if precautions are followed.

The only time I'd think it be wrong is if the SH was done to "punish" someone else for whatever, eg "Talk to me or I'll sh", in all other cases it isn't morally wrong.

it's just another coping mechanism, isn't it? it can be risky sometimes, but people that sh usually already know that, and accept the risk. (reminder to check out your sh methods harm reduction tips, if you're interested!)

I don't think either right or wrong apply unless someone were being forced by another to self harm, in which case it would be wrong. On the other hand, I don't think harm could be considered right unless it were a choice between that and something more harmful.
