I heard on Qoura that they ceased manufacturing it. Is this true? I remember big news picked up on people traveling to Mexico to get it, so is it no longer available?

There was a thread just recently on here from someone who was able to buy it in Mexico, I believe even in a border town to the US. So I'd guess it's still pretty well available there.

The brand name "Nembutal" is near impossible to source in Mexico. The proper scientific name is "Sodium Pentobarbital" (SP) CAN be found in places in Mexico at SOME pet supply shops and Vet. clinics. In Mexico, as in many places around the world you would need a prescription from a Veterinarian to legally buy SP. In fact I will be helping someone buy SP some time over the summer. I have helped others by helping them with translation and by taking them to the right shop. Through a lot of work on my part over the last 18 months, I have built a solid relationship with a specific shop owner in Mexico when I bought my on two bottles in January 2023. The daughter in the family is an actual veterinarian and the parents run the pet shop at the front of the shop. When I contact her, she sources what I ask for and then I may help someone with the translation that is needed. What those people do with the two bottles, is up to them and none of my business. Perhaps they do have a Saint Bernard with cancer at home.

I am not making any comments about being able to find N / SP in any other countries because I have not been to other countries to buy N / SP. Though I have traveled extensively in Latin America, it has been for travel and not for procuring N / SP.

I DO NOT sell N or SP. I DO NOT have N or SP for sale. I WILL NOT ship N or SP through the federal mail service or any shipping company. Don't ask, it is NOT going to happen.

AllWentWrong,

Yes and yes.
I was wondering how much they sell it for? I have to send a friend and pay them in advance if it is a lot of money. Are you OK discussing more on PM?

The thing is, they know that foreigners want to buy it. So there is NO set price, it's up to each shop owner what price they choose to sell it for. One shop I went to wanted $300 per bottle. The shop that I have built a working relationship with sells it to me for about $100 per bottle. So there is NO price that they sell it for that can be relied on.

So how do you arrange to meet people to take them to "your" network shop? Do you go regularly? Do you charge a fee?
Also is this shop a long distance from the border crossing in San Diego?

Sorry, but I do have a little bit of common sense. I will not have a conversation like this out in the open on a public board.

Hey mate, there's a high chance you're just genuinely curious & you don't have ill intent, but the questions you're asking are quite rapid-fire and ill-suited for a public forum post. Please excuse me for being overly cautious, but please keep the questions for PM's. It keeps us all safe. Thanks.
