• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Essentially title. hopefully once they arrive they'd be out maybe an hour or two. Want to make it very clear I've lost hope and its all obvious why I'm dead and there's no point to pester my family while they grieve. Just take my body and say their condolences and leave them alone. I stress doing this at home because I can barely muster the strength and handle my paranoia and anxiety outside my home.

Just need to fight my fears. The fear of a failed attempt is destroying me

The details of death investigations depend on your location, but one thing is true in general of police: they will do whatever they want for as long as they damn well please as long as it fits within the applicable laws and guidelines pertaining to the investigation. The job of the police specifically is to determine whether or not a crime has been committed, and they will leave it to the coroner or medical examiner to determine cause of death and whether it was a suicide, accident, or homicide.

So the police may have to wait some time for the coroner/medical examiner to arrive, do their investigation, and take the body to the morgue. The police might also decide to do their own investigation and collect evidence at the scene, or not, it just depends on the circumstances and the mood of the officer. I'm afriaid it's possible they could hassle your family. At a minimum there will probably be a string of strangers coming into the house during a very upsetting time, which will always be stressful.

It might be better to do it in a hotel, if possible. I live with my parents and I would love to CTB at home, but I don't want to subject them to the turmoil of having it happen in their own home.

Makes so much sense and you are so right. Will aim for an airbnb or a hotel then  I will also have more opportunities for anchor points...

Surely one will have a place for hanging, preferably full suspension... Not like I'll bring my money to the grave anyways so I don't care about spending much if that means my death is swift and the police aren't in my families face.
