  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

If you're found and "saved" while still breathing so your brain won't lack oxygen, you will recover without brain damage. If you're found after you've stopped breathing and revived, the damage will depend on how much time has passed between your breath stopped and the moment you've been resuscitated (the amount of time your brain was not oxygenated).

Opioids have putative neuroprotective properties to them, probably more so than any barbiturate could ever procure for the ailing brain, but plenty of people have overdosed, been revived shortly thereafter, and still consequentially suffered from anoxic brain damage.

Mess with your body's ability to breathe optimally, and you risk triggering a cascade of metabolic collapses that can cause permanent organ damage.
