  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

So my SN should be arriving anytime soon, but I know that I'm not going to use it as soon as I get it - I probably won't be using it until at least a few months just so I have time to plan and prepare. But in the meantime I need somewhere to keep it. I can't just leave something that dangerous lying around, because I live with my parents, and my mum comes into my room a lot. I also have little cousins that I take care of sometimes. They come around my house really often and they like to play around in my room a lot. I even leave them in there unattended at times (briefly) and they literally get into places that I haven't touched in years. There is absolutely no way I can allow them to get ahold of that.
I'm thinking about getting a safe, but I don't want it to look so obvious. If you have SN, how do you store it?

I don't think that's a good idea because your parents would be curious about what's in the safe. I don´t know how old you are, but maybe you can rent a bank safe deposit box. Or find a place outside the house.

Have a good look around your bedroom to find a good hiding place, try and think of somewhere that absolutely no one will look. Maybe somewhere like taped behind/underneath your wardrobe/chest of drawers or under your mattress? In the attic/garage? Or in your underwear draw? Or you can cut out the foam from a extra pillow and stuff it in there?

You could also hide it outside somewhere you have access like work school etc.

It should be somewhere really absolutely no one will think of looking or even accidentally find and people do not get suspicious of your behaviour.

Have a good think.
