Back with another jumping question. There's one building I'm seriously considering. I know I have access to the roof. But. It's over both grass and concrete. One side is over an asphalt path for cars and it's very narrow. I went up to the roof and looked down from it and I didn't jump because I was afraid I wouldn't land on the asphalt. There's grass surrounding the building, the asphalt path, and then a very tall barbed-wire fence surrounding the whole area. I wish I had the chance to look over the other sides so badly. But I was afraid that would seem suspicious because a construction worker was there doing some repairs to the floors on the roof for some reason. Anyway, the path is very narrow, JUST wide enough for a car, that's it. When I was looking up at the building from down below, I was sure I could land on the path. But looking up from 20 stories high, it seemed like I would land on the fence for sure. And I've read news articles before about people jumping from 40 stories and surviving because something like a car broke their fall, so I can't risk falling onto the fence. I can't risk even a small error margin, with the medical condition I have, I can't risk surviving and ending up in more agony.

There's another part of the building I didn't have the time to check out, but I will hopefully soon (I'm hoping to God they haven't locked the roof. The security guard saw me and told me I couldn't go on the roof because of the construction. I hope he doesn't remember me.) That part is the front entrance, and it's over like 15-20 feet (not too sure) of grass and a glass awning about 10 feet long over the front doors. Beyond the grass, there's a parking lot! And that part of the parking lot is always almost empty. It's perfect! Thinking of it brings me such peace. But is it possible to land 20 feet away if I jump from 20 stories up? I can't land on the grass or the glass roof, a person in this country survived falling 42 STORIES because they landed on a roof restaurant. I have no idea how that's possible. They fell feet-first through the ceiling and there was this giant hole in the photos. I have to land on the concrete for it be a certain death, no risk of surviving, so is it possible? If you could find any examples of someone jumping and landing very far away, that'd help me too.

don't do it....you'll probably end up paraplegic.

What happened to your plan of jumping out of the hotel room?

It's possible but you'd have to do a long jump. The world record is like 29 ft. If you're light and athletic, maybe. But you also run the risk of backing out and hesitating only to fall and hit the fence/grass.

It's still an option, but I'm having trouble deciding which hotel to use. I visited one and there was a row of parked cars below. Too risky. I'm glad I checked it out myself before I made a reservation. Not really sure which place I'm going to use now. There are other hotels obviously. But I don't know which place to use. I've been researching this for a really long while and I'm really tired. One of the hotels has windows that only open half-way but I may be able to fit through? And there's the one that's over a line of cars and a grass garden. I don't want to spend my parents' money, and then it turns out I can't even jump. That's why this building plan would be easier... but I want to be sure I don't land on grass :/ I just want this to be over with.

Yeah, jumping is how I'm sure I want to do it. There are bridges here but there are no pedestrian walkways. You need a car. Even if I did have a car, I can't jump into water. Too much of a risk of surviving. I want it to be onto concrete. There is one hotel that I think might work if the building thing doesn't work out. Thanks for replying.

Does anyone have any news article/journal study examples of people landing 15+ feet away, or landing within a narrow area from more than 10 stories? I have two places to jump from (if I don't go with any hotel. The hotel is a backup plan.) One is a narrow path surrounded by a fence, and the fence is surrounded by another thin strip of very soft grass and earth on each side, one is asphalt 15+ feet away from the grass. Two options... I don't know which one's less risky. Jumping within a narrow area, or aiming too far?
