Discussion is it me or the bathroom is the most mentally calm place?

Everytime I go to the bathroom I feel a weird sense of peace.

like idk when I go my mind tends to calm down to whatever hell state it was before.
and I can clearly think more too in bathrooms.

it might have to do with how small a bathroom is which I find small spaces alot more comfy than normal rooms but other small rooms in my house don't bring that feeling unlike the bathroom

This might be a weird post but idk it has been on my mind and I can't really explain it perfectly ether.
I wonder if there is anyone else that feel this way or know why this might be the case

I use to SH and cry my eyes out in the bathroom as a kid. Got to the point where my dad prevented me from being in there for more than 20 minutes.

It's a nice, private area where nobody is likely to disturb you or judge you. It's a great safe space.

there were moments in my life when my parents would fight badly and I had to hide to escape and that hiding place was the bathroom and my dad would try to bust it down to see why I was hiding in it.

honestly I am so greatful for the bathroom. I would say it's the best room in a house besides maybe your own room in terms of comfort.

Even my room wasn't that safe, since I shared it with brother, and there wasn't a lock. Bathroom truly was always the only secure and private room

Sometimes people's own rooms aren't even safe and it sucks because it's their own room they should feel safe in it but they don't.
I am so glad the bathrooms are in all houses. without it idk where I would go to hide during bad family moments in my life
