Help Is it easier to jump off a tall structure, or blow my head off?

Id like to kill myself before I go back to college, and I have about exactly one month to make that happen. Ive been doing research on places to jump off of in my area and I've found a few. I don't think fear is an issue because I intend to buy alcohol and other drugs. The only thing I'm truly afraid of is surviving the fall and being left to live with a ton of disabilities. I originally wanted to buy SN, but I'd have to wait until I got to college to even do that, and thats a whole other can of worms. On the other hand I waas considering shooting myself. I kinda wanted to try doing it at a shooting range, but I know they have people nearby that may be able to prevent you from doing that. I have enough money to buy a gun as well, but I still live with family and hiding something like that may be difficult. Either way, I need advice on which is easier. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I would imagine a gun is easier. I've thought abt jumping a lot and even planned it once. But even with liquid encouragement I backed out when I was actually there on the edge looking down. Its a hard last step to take.

I jumped on an overpass and failed. A friend used a .45 to right temple and succeeded. I don't know.
