  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

What kind of things do people leave in notes?

It's for the people you still care about.

Whether to leave a note or not is an individual decision, it is up to you. I see notes as acting as closure for those left behind and will mean the people left behind are not left with unanswered questions. In mine I would say 'there is nothing you could have done' and 'now I am at peace, free from suffering'.

I don't think I'll be leaving a note to be honest.

Notes maybe but definitely no last minute texts or phone calls or someone is likely to find you and ruin your chance of being successful.

some of the reasons why I'll note leave any note are:
I'm going through a lot of things, I think about a lot of stuff and I probably couldn't explain everything in a paper. maybe in a book.
people don't care anyway.
people are only good at empathizing with those who think similarly to them. their ego is too out-of-control and different ways of thinking are often disrespected, disdained, dismissed or even unbearable.

For me, I think I'll leave a note. I've gone back and forth with the idea, since it seems a bit difficult with how spacey and unfocused I can be. But, it might ease the minds of those I care about.

I'm not sure if I'll leave the reasons why or not, but in the very least I want people to know they didn't do anything wrong. That's just me though.
