I want to jump off a very tall parking garage. The reason I've chosen this is simply because other methods aren't available to me (no firearms, no life-threatening drugs, I live with my family so I don't particularly want to hang myself, etc). I live in a major city and this parking lot would be near a highly populated area.

I don't want to traumatize anyone I just don't know what other options I have

is it bad? yes if you care about not scarring nearby people or the janitor that has to clean it up

with that being said, sometimes you have to do what you gotta do.

Well…jumping off a building is bad in general.
And yes, you would traumatize many people.
If you absolutely must die and there's no other option, try to go at night or early in the morning where there are less people.

Only thing bad about it is that it won't be high enough. You will not die on impact and will likely suffer immensely.

Yeah, anyone can be traumatized when they find a dead body. Unless you manage to hide your body in the process or do it where literally nobody goes, at least one person will almost always be affected, first responder or not.

That's going to hurt like hell. Maybe patience is your best option

Honestly i don't think you can traumatize most people, nowadays there are more insensitive and morbid, but my concern will be hitting someone passing by so i would do it like at 2-3 am in a big holiday

How tall is the parking garage? You need it to be tall enough so you don't survive and become disabled
Anyway overcoming SI to jump feels impossible to me. Good luck with that though

it should be at least above 150 feet and try to land on your head so you go unconscious upon impact and die within a few seconds
