Help is hanging a quiet or loud method??!!

hello guys,

is fsh or partial hanging a quiet or loud method? i plan on doing it in the night when everyone is asleep, and i absolutely do not want to be found! will it be loud?, like will i be gasping for air or random movements even when unconscious? i seen someone on here say it's pretty loud, and ever since i've been trying to find the right time to attempt in the night, also my sister is a nurse so i definitely don't want to be found by her, i unfortunately can't go to a hotel so the only place i can do it, is at home in my room, i plan on doing it in my closet, it's one of the metal closets idk if you guys are familiar with that.

any suggestions or tips?

I think it's likely you'll make noises. Probably not the best idea to do it with others around.

i see, unfortunately someone is always home & the only time i see fit to do it is at night when everyone is deep sleep, do you think if i have some noise playing on my tv and my fan blowing will that mask the noise?

Everyone experiences it differently, some pass out quicker and some trash around and make loud noises before finally passing out, its hard to say for sure whether or not you could mask it. You could try to turn on any appliances that make sound that isn't suspicious and see how that sounds from outside your room

Idk. Never actually heard any of the sounds that people make while hanging. It's just been reported that various "noises" have been known to occur. I kind of doubt there would be any loud "yelping", but, then again, I really don't know. Only you know how sound sleepers your family are.

i'm dealing with the same restrictions since i live with my family and don't have my license yet. i've been fighting SI but i'm also extremely anxious about having my rights taken away from me if i get caught doing an attempt. working on my license will give me more leeway to ctb, even if it's just to go to some woods further from home.

You could try to turn on any appliances that make sound that isn't suspicious and see how that sounds from outside your room

i agree with @death or death. turning on something like a laptop or a tv from the inside of your closet would be a good way to tell how loud you would be from another room. i'd be worried about how loud thrashing against the wall or door would be since i'm doing it unconsciously. i start wiggling around almost immediately while i'm hanging because i have a panic reaction, but people in the videos i've seen seem to go limp once they're fully unconscious.

i hope you're able to get your license soon! what's the process like for you? i received my license through a driving school then scheduled an appointment with the dmv right after.
also, i tested the method beforehand and i fell unconscious pretty quickly i'd say 10-15 secs so hopefully my body go limp and i don't make any noises
