They say that full suspension/complete hanging hurts like hell and you suffocate for eternity whilst partial hanging is the flip side of that and relatively painless and able to subdue you easily, Okay, I have a thought though Full suspension must be as painless as partial (theoretically)
Here's the evidence:
The weight needed for Carotid artery closure is easily obtainable with just partial suspension, alright moving on
So if it's easily closed with partial suspension, then we could logically say the first thing to be restricted (Full-suspension wise) by the ligature is the carotid artery's! Then the nasty bits like the trachea, etc so this means with a tight enough ligature the carotid artery's regardless of full suspension, or partial suspension go first meaning a peaceful death without stereotypical rope choking you see in movies, I rest my case
