Hey. Does anyone know if duct-tape is completely airtight (so that gasses such as oxygen and nitrogen/helium/argon, won't be able to penetrate it, even at a microscopic level)?

I'm asking about this, because I'm thinking of taping the end of a gas-mask-hose onto the connector of a gas-regulator, if the end of the gas-mask-hose is too big to fit tightly onto the connector of the gas-regulator. (I'm thinking of taping it on, as it can be difficult to find a proper adapter-connector that would make these items fit perfectly with each other.)

Some tapes are supposedly airtight. Only research and testing will tell
