You remind me of what I did, last year I tried to use charcoal after hanging failed. I locked myself in a apartment room. I didn't research about charcoal suicide that time and I didn't know people usually used *smokeless* charcoal. I bought a normal charcoal and then started to burn it in my room. I sealed the door, window and try to sleep. It was hard because the smoke is covering the whole room and no where to go out. The room turned really hot and I'm basically suffocating, forcing myself to sleep. And guess what,I actually did manage to fall asleep and wake up after an hour. I didn't die, I started to feel headache and I can't withstand anymore. I tear the tape away that sealed the gaps of the door and ran out. Opening all window. At the moment, I can't even walk. It's like everytime I took a step, the world starts spinning and I feel like vomiting. That is the time I realise how stupid am I, never research before I take action to suicide. Now among those suicide method, using charcoal is never my option ANYMORE.
You are not stupid. I can tell and you might not know it?

Can I ask why you'd like to die? I understand everyone had different reasons. If you don't, I understand.

Honestly is there even a method that cannot fail? Nope...We just have to do our research, do everything correctly and hope no one finds us before we're dead....Also there was a couple of cases not long agi in my country where a 15 girl "fell" out of school window and died. Then not long after another 15 y. o. boy "fell" out of a really high building, he survived...Then before that an athlete jumped out of a window, died. What I'm trying to say...You never know even if you jump from a super high building, god knows how it'll end...It scares the shit out of me

A girl I like suicide by hanging. And also, I hate my family. And I have no interest in life. The main point is that I'm embarrassed, I'm like a coward. A girl that's younger than me can suicide successfully but I'm a man and I fcking failed. What a loser rite?

A few people on here have used a particular type of pop up tent (costs about £50GBP and have succeeded.

They either go to a camp site, or find somewhere remote, light up the charcoal, let the smoke die out and the embers stop glowing, then put it in the tent and get in.

The advantage is you can eat nice food, drink alcohol, or take pills to relax you if you want to, rather than fasting and drinking salty poison.

Disadvantage - if it doesn't work can have long term neurological effects, so need to make sure you burn enough charcoal, seal up the vents on the tent and not get found too soon.

Is camping allowed in states under lockdown? If I went to a camp site, would it be more suspicious in the current climate?

What neurological effects ?

I'm in the UK and it looks like some are open, even now in winter.

I don't think it would be that suspicious, a lot of people are probably itching to get out of their homes, and it will definitely look less suspicious to have a tent up and be burning charcoal near a tent than in a car.

I have an exhaust leak. How long should it take for me to die just sitting in my car with it on?
That question has so many moving parts that the answer is: No way to know.
Buy or rent a carbon monoxide meter and see how high the ppm goes.

Didn't they change car exhaust fumes so they don't produce alot of CO anymore? probably because it was getting popular.

I know they stopped gas cookers from doing it.

Catalytic converters burn CO out of the exhaust but they must be hot to do so.
Cold engines also produce more CO than hot ones.
In this case the fumes escaped before even reaching the catalytic converter.

Good idea, if you can disconnect the exhaust before the converter, then you are back in business again where the engine would produce as much CO as old cars.

Yes but in my bedroom, not in a car.
I've been found like 12 hours after losing consciousness so CO can really take time to kill you. I know I made a mistake by doing it in my bedroom (too large) but still be aware of the possible consequences of being found and be very careful.

Yep that's it, thanks to took the time to go check my post Btw :)
Was the count 10.000 ppm?
