I've seen many korean celebrities kill themselves like that, it is a very common way of suicide in Asia, I'd like to end my life this way too..I think it is a good method considering how many people have successfully used it.

There's even a post on this forum, someone wrote it while being in the car with the burning charcoal, hasn't been online since then...

I think as long as you get the coals/charcoal to the right temperature(before putting them in the car) then it will work fine.

It is actually easy enough to even accidentally unintentionally do it if misusing a charcoal grill inside of a space.

It is also a dangerous enough method to innocent other people, and carries serious risks of brain damage to oneself too. To do good research if considering it.

This is one of those underrated methods that not enough people talk about.

It absolutely works, it can even be used in a small room, and I've read a case of someone doing it in their living room with many charcoal grills.

however, you have to make sure that everything is correct. everything from having an air-sealed place to having the charcoal burning correctly needs to be taken into consideration, since some people wake up from it because one of those reasons.

Nevertheless. this method is gaining a lot of popularity in Asian countries because of its ease of use and reliability, also. it's apparently painless if done correctly.
this is probably going to be the next SN if they somehow ban it or make SN even harder to get for some people. you need to be a bit craftier and have access to a car or a small room, but with enough research this is a great method, and there's no way that they can ban or make charcoal and grills difficult to acquire.

He could have severe brain damage and drools.

Some charcoal has been messed with so as to prevent this death. I forgot which ones.

Thanks! Quality response. What level is deadly and how long does it need to be at that level?

This method is perfect. I would feel no fear like I would if I jumped off a bridge

A charcoal grill emits approximately 3500 ppm within the grill space that it is burning, and varies by the variables...

Find a chart it explains it all much better than I could, but at 3000+ ppm death in approximately thirty minutes to an hour. Unconsciousness within minutes it sounds like?

The biggest immediate problem I have seen for with the saved is... CRAZY diarrhea!

The neurological effects may be delayed and I never saw something like that though.

But seen plenty of neurological shit!
Why diarrhea? Sounds awful.

You should've omitted the third paragraph. It confuses your post.

There's a musician that killed himself this way. You can listen to his songs on YouTube. They're sad and acoustic.

He did it on live stream in his bathroom and reported feeling very hot. Someone recommended he wet a towel and place it over his body. He was a rather young man.

I've heard other people who tried this method in their cars, started feeling woozy, and found themselves leaping out of the car for air.

I really don't know but it is crazy. I have literally seen it tons of times though.. it always happens. I've even sprayed down a few guys who were getting ready for the hyperbaric chamber, but they was covered in runny shit... hahah

Being saved is the worst thing that can happen.
CO is painless you just fall into sleep and you're on your way to ctb.. Except if someone find you.
I've been found before ctb, spent a week in coma, woke up with tubes down my throat, catheter in my penis etc.. I am now deaf from one side and have one leg that doesn't work properly anymore due to severe nerves damages.

So please make absolutely sure you won't be found too soon or your life can become hell (yeah worse than now). :/

They did. I went through their post history. Apparently even after 12 hours they didn't die. And it ended up causing partial paralysis and deafness.

Yes but in my bedroom, not in a car.
I've been found like 12 hours after losing consciousness so CO can really take time to kill you. I know I made a mistake by doing it in my bedroom (too large) but still be aware of the possible consequences of being found and be very careful.

Yes it sure works.
As I said I made mistakes and I'm sure I'll be dead now if I did not make em.
I just want to warn you and others that (from my point of view) the most important it to be sure to not be found too early.
Even if it took time for me, doctors said me that two more hours and I was dead..

I have an exhaust leak. How long should it take for me to die just sitting in my car with it on?

I believe that the charcoal they use in Asia is chemically different, producing more CO.

Years ago when I was doing serious research, you could buy a different kind of charcoal on amazon that was the type used there.

PLEASE do not ask me what it was. I truly have no idea.

You remind me of what I did, last year I tried to use charcoal after hanging failed. I locked myself in a apartment room. I didn't research about charcoal suicide that time and I didn't know people usually used *smokeless* charcoal. I bought a normal charcoal and then started to burn it in my room. I sealed the door, window and try to sleep. It was hard because the smoke is covering the whole room and no where to go out. The room turned really hot and I'm basically suffocating, forcing myself to sleep. And guess what,I actually did manage to fall asleep and wake up after an hour. I didn't die, I started to feel headache and I can't withstand anymore. I tear the tape away that sealed the gaps of the door and ran out. Opening all window. At the moment, I can't even walk. It's like everytime I took a step, the world starts spinning and I feel like vomiting. That is the time I realise how stupid am I, never research before I take action to suicide. Now among those suicide method, using charcoal is never my option ANYMORE.

Forget about exhaust, unless your car is old enough to not have a catalytic converter.
Pollution controls reduce CO low enough that you will not die.
