It does. It really sucks. I am happy I have been sleeping well for last 2 years or so. I was once up for few nights and I felt so sick.

I'm so sorry, insomnia Sucks indeed. Right now my rutine is mostly "day one I cant sleep" to "day two I'm sleepy enough to sleep thanks to day one without sleeping" then back to day one.

Fuck... I mean there are a bunch of types and you can go short of candy shopping until one does it. It's not great tho. Can you at least get sleepy enough some day after like me to sleep a bit, or is it an every day thing?
I also sleep with music, which depending on the day ranges from relaxing to harsh noise to drown out the thougts lol

Yeah sometimes it works and I fall asleep. But most days, I don't feel anything so I end up staying up the whole night.

Im just yapping at this point but whatever. I also sometimes manage to fall asleep watching the most boring movies posible. Specially really old horror movies like from the 30's where there is just static black and white, the crispiest narrator voice barely understadable, a semblance of a plot, characters do be talking, what a about, that's the real mystery. Sometimes the brain just dips out of that.
Very dumb recommendation but Murder by Television (1935)
Peak of this. Zenith of boredom. No one's beat it since. Try it if you want. It's far from conventional method but living enough time with insomnia you learn to stick with whatever works and not question it much.
