Help Is 0.25 mg alprazolam sufficient for SN protocol if I am benzo-naive?

In my opinion, 0,25 mg alprazolam is not sufficient for the SN protocol. I have a broad experience with benzos and I can say that 0,25 mg is really not a lot. If you haven't tried benzos before, you should try them before you actually plan on doing SN. That way, you'll know what your tolerance level is. I would suggest trying 0,5 mg first, see how you feel. In my SN protocol, I am planning to take at least 10 mg benzos but I have been taking them since 1,5 years so I developed a high tolerance level.

And what about for the protocol itself if I don't have any tolerance? I'm aiming to reduce panic, right, not sedate myself? I tend to be quite sensitive to medications for whatever reason just as a rule of thumb, so it's a safe bet that, regardless, a lower dosage will suit me better.

Yes start with .125, and get a feel for it. I take them once in a while and that's all I take, and that's enough for generalized anxiety. But for someone who takes them regularly you definitely do develop a tolerance. My understanding is that the method itself doesn't require any of that, it's all about the SN. Alprazolam is just to calm your nerves.

I have anxiety, but I don't generally have panic attacks. I suppose I could lie, but I'm not sure I would feel comfortable doing so, and if they picked up on it, it could be very bad. I will say that sometimes the anxiety is pretty severe and that I do experience agitation and often insomnia to some extent, but I'm unsure if they would prescribe it for those reasons.
