A few individuals often talk about the internet not being real life, but for the majority of the western world (2024), 'reality' and often censored internet/social media are and have been deeply intertwined for a long time.
Even the 'get off your phone!' commenter types always seem to spend a sizeable amount of their own time telling others to get off their phone.
