Each person should choose his own path, regardless of which country he lives in, I think that it should be quick and painless and from materials at hand that are available to each person

Welcome to SaSu.No, hanging is quite long and not painless and difficult psychologically
The opinion is based on what I heard, and I personally think that it is a long time and is not an instant and painless death.Welcome to SaSu.
Is your view of hanging being long and painful based on personal experience or just what you've heard?
If done correctly it is considered quite fast to go unconscious.
I'm just wondering why you think this way?
A homemade bomb. Wow, what could possibly go wrong? The opinion is based on what I heard, and I personally think that it is a long time and is not an instant and painless death.
There is an option that works quickly and painlessly, you can make a homemade bomb from improvised materials that are available in every store
I expect you're right but I imagine buying and even researching stuff like that will put you on the radar of the authorities. How are they to know that your motives are to hurt yourself rather than others? The opinion is based on what I heard, and I personally think that it is a long time and is not an instant and painless death.

I know right. We are here looking at how to harm ourself not othersA homemade bomb. Wow, what could possibly go wrong?
It's not even about blocking the airway. It's applying the appropriate amount of pressure to the carotid arteries in the neck to cut off blood flow to the brain, rendering a person unconscious. But yeah—cut off the blood flow and it's lights out within seconds. It's all about how you position the rope to cut off your airway. If done right you are unconscious in a matter of seconds therefore very painless.
Technically much more accurate, thanks for the correction. ^_^It's not even about blocking the airway. Саморобна бомба. Вау, що може піти не так?
on the contrary, if everything is done according to the template and correctly, it is an effective way and the most affordable, and every person can do it and choose a place for it, so there are enough cases with soldiers who survived. but if the bomb is directed at the upper part of the body (head and neck) it is instant death, it is impossible to survive after thisI'm sorry but a bomb isn't necessarily a guaranteed death either. There is a lot of factors you can't always control and there are plenty of stories of soldiers surviving direct explosions. Not to mention the mess and damage you are leaving for others to deal with..
Also as for the hanging, it all depends how you do it. And comparing it to the hangings of old doesn't work either because they never tried to make the hangings painless like we would. It's all about how you position the rope to cut off your airway. If done right you are unconscious in a matter of seconds therefore very painless.
yes, of course, if you use a bomb at home, it will attract attention, but it will no longer matter because the person has made his choice, and if the person does not want to attract attention, it can be done in another place, this design is simple and proven, and the person can check its effectiveness in advanceI think that's the first time I've seen someone suggest using a bomb. Do you have a plan for minimizing the mess?
I agree that hanging is usually quite painful and far from instant. For centuries, England executed its commoner criminals by short-drop hanging. People would take the day off work so they could go watch. The highlight was watching the condemned person flail and contort in agony as they died. Typically, it took about a quarter of an hour for them to expire.
By the end of the 18th century sensibilities had changed, and they switched to long-drop hanging. That breaks the subject's neck and causes instant paralysis. The theory was that since the body wasn't wildly convulsing, the condemned man or woman wasn't suffering, which I find doubtful. I think there would be consciousness until the hanged person's brain used up its supply of oxygen, which might take a while, since they were likely hyperventilating in terror before the hangman pulled the lever.
Not that anyone asked. :p
Edit: @Forever Sleep — Pipe bombs are very easy to construct and it's unlikely that buying their components would alert the authorities. Generations of juvenile delinquents have used them to blow up people's mailboxes. (That actually happened to my family once. I'd accidentally pissed off a particularly demented local bully.)
They're not really high-powered explosives in most cases, and they're known to be unreliable—although I suppose you'd increase your odds of having one work as planned with practice. Even still—I'd be concerned about inflicting terrible injuries on yourself but remaining alive, especially since an explosion will draw a lot of attention.
