Random question as i havent seen people talk about it
Could you inject SN and bypass the other medication needed to take it?
It is basically injecting salt water into your veins so i cant imagine its painless but food for thought

SN works by taking the oxygen from your blood. So I imagine that it would work perfectly well if injected, and it would avoid the problem of vomiting. However, I haven't seen any proper scientfic study of the topic. I suggest you try to find some, before you seriously consider this route. There might be drawbacks that haven't occurred to me.

Impractical volume for an amateur without some training/experience and the right equipment. There's also a good chance it'll burn like hell going in and give you a nasty injury if you miss the vein.

Answering a bit more fully now I'm back from the store... When it's used medically as an antidote to cyanide poisoning it's formulated as 30mg/ml. At that concentration you'd need over 166cc to give a total dose of 5g. Not really practical.

A higher concentration reduces the volume needed but increases the risk of pain and damage to blood vessels. It's also very hard to estimate how much you'd need: probably a lot less than oral dosing but you'd essentially be experimenting on yourself. The ld50 is often quoted as 180mg/kg but that's from oral studies in rats.

Then there's the risk of infection from bulk injecting a non-sterile solution made from lab or food grade SN should you survive.

I'd say there's a lot of risk to this and not much reward.
