hi, this is my first time posting here and i have no idea if this will post correctly, so if something about it screws up, sorry about that. but basically im here because i want to ask a general consensus in regards to ctb methods. i have the pain tolerance of an actual toddler, so i need a painless method (and i cant do the obvious ones, like shotgun, car exhaust, or that sodium stuff i see talked about a lot on here due to irl circumstances). ive narrowed down my options to jumping off a bridge and getting hit by a train, but im absolutely terrified that i wont succeed in dying right away, and ill have to lie there in agony for hours before some moron comes along and decides to play god and call 911 to try to "save" me. living in a paralyzed body unable to do the only things in my life i actually enjoy would only make my life worse. does anyone know a way to ensure i ctb from these methods? (preferably the train method as i feel like its more trustworthy, bc the bridge i have in mind might be a little too short to be effective.) thanks in advance.

The general consensus here is that putting your neck to the rail so that the train moves over it is the best train suicide method.

I have since I was first suicidal years ago thought that train is probably the most reliable CBT method in my country available to me but thinking about it deeper I do fear you could mess it up badly by going to the tracks too late or by panicking so the train does run over something less vital.

I guess jump method would be only ok choice if you had like over 10 story building and concrete landing or something.
