If I want to ctb by inert gas method, how much money will I spend? And what are the problems I may face with this method?


It's worth mentioning that I live in Egypt. Why is that worth mentioning? Because an Egyptian guy tried to import SN from outside and it was seized in customs. So, I'm afraid that if I tried to import helium tank from outside it will be seized in customs and then I will be in trouble. Importing SN or helium tank isn't against Egyptian laws, but in Egypt you can find yourself in trouble with the authorities even if you didn't break any law.

I went to a big store in my city and asked for a nitrogen cylinder. The seller suspiciously asked me: "Why would you need a nitrogen tank?"

I got confused and at the end he refused to sell it to me.

I'm not sure about the reason.. maybe he was selling those cylinders only to hospitals or something like that.. i don't know.

Just say that you are a welder and you want it for welding.
Or order it online in a company within your country so you don't have to pay international import taxes/international shipping.

I thought it had to be flammable for welding.?

There are types of welding that use inert gases as a shielding gas.

First thing is find out what you need and come up with a story that will work and you can confidently tell if asked any aspect. Once you have that confidence you should look for the goods I don't know where you are in Egyot but some stuff could possibly be hired rather than purchased?

I've heard that saying you need it to inflate balloons (like those who distribute balloons on the street) is the most convenient excuse.
