... there would be a way to tell your loved ones that you are going to die on X date, and be able to answer all their questions while you're still alive.

I am terrified of the pain I will cause people around me when I kill myself. I know I won't be alive to deal with it, but that knowledge doesn't feel like it's sufficient to absolve me of any responsibility for their pain.

I wish there was a way for me to give a few weeks warning to them, and invite them to ask me whatever they want. Or spend time together and create some nice memories for them.

My mum died at the end of 2015 due to terminal cancer. She was not good at dying, and was hostile to everyone right until the end. She was a wounded animal that never chose to die. I wish I could receive 'mental illness palliative care' for a while and give some guidance to my loved ones about where I am at, and how I am better off dead, and treated with dignity and respect so that I can offer the same to them.

Fuck this pro-life culture.
