"If you work hard enough, you'll get anything you want". "Everyone can win, if they want".
The people with all the money and friends are flat, plain liars. They exaggerate the positive traits about stuff. They don't wait for anybody, they just ram through at full speed, even if they encourage harmful behavior, but 'it increases revenue and sales, and helps me get a promotion', so 'It's justified since it's a game with rules and strategy, you just gotta know how to play it, but it's very complex with a lot of depth and fun to learn!', like no, just no.
I don't even want these things. But my biology says otherwise.
Even if they have to tease, even if they have to make others feel like less, even if they have to make 'good first impressions' while utterly and blatantly lying and being insincere... they still do it. And a lot of people buy that crap. Their biology leads them to it.
Some of them lie out of necessity. But it's still so sad.
Heck, 'friends' don't exist, it's all covered under some 'let's help each other' nonsense, supposed-to-be-beautiful lie.
That "life is a game with rules". Well, if we assume that's the case, what a crapload of garbage rules.
And I'm the "mentally ill"? Just because I speak the truth? I'm not mentally ill. I speak the truth.
I'm full of myself... but the whole world is full of itself. This place rots. Seriously.
Altruist actions... I don't want to be ungrateful towards them. But still. Even those come from a necessity to feel special, and while it may benefit society in some situations and contexts, as soon as needs no longer match, even those people are going to let go, because they were doing it only because they wanted to, and not because of one.
Nobody wants someone who speak such truths. Some even go as far as to say, 'I hope I never meet someone like that in my whole life!', without the smallest care.
People use us, and we use people. But we hide that fundamental truth under the pretension that 'that's what friendship is all about'.
I really don't want to deal with any of this bs anymore.
