Venting I'm the last choice.

All of my friends only talk and hang out with me when there's no one else. I'm last to be invited, if at all, to any meeting or group chat. Even my own girlfriend has made more friends off of people I introduced her to than myself. I don't matter to anyone. Everyone I know will move on from my death as if I wasn't even there. It won't even be a major impact.

Just a footnote. Like so many others like me. How many of us will die, how much of the streets will run red before anyone cares about us?

I know the feeling, but I have never really hard a close group of friends long term. I'm incapable of forming long term bonds with people. There's really only one person in my life I've been able to love and connect with, but even he wouldn't choose me.

yep.. and the worst part is that once people pick up on the fact that someone is excluding you, they'll start to do it too, subconsciously. so really quickly in a "friend" group, everyone will exclude you. it spreads like wildfire. people at this point know to give up on me because they know from other people that i'm terrible to be around. and it sucks, but it hurts more knowing its my fault.

hm i've thought about this too. i think in a situation of a friend group, if one person who's insecure gets wind that another person is "the outcast," they'll try to fit in with the majority and join in on excluding them. im not saying this is an intentional decision but your mind will do crazy things to protect you.
i think i probably have run into people like me or i know them but they're just good at hiding it under layers of false confidence.

I think you're right. I just find it bullshit cause I know everytime I've noticed someone being talked over and excluded from a situation I go out of my way to give them the floor to speak or include them, I've even done it for people I personally don't like; if they're trying to speak I turn to them and ask them what they were gonna say.
