Help I'm sure I want to die but I'm scared to why?

My death by hanging is in 2 days but I need to know how to go through with it without being scared, I have no reason to be scared ether I don't know what's wrong with me. I think I'm scared that I will fail or the police will come or something I'm just worried all end up in the mental hospital again :( what do I do to prepare myself.

I've been afraid of it for a long time, so I know the feeling. I don't know how to explain to you the process of overcoming that fear because it happens on its own. When life becomes significantly more terrifying than being dead, suicide doesn't seem quite as scary (but it probably will always be a little scary).

If you don't feel like you're ready to do it a couple days from now, then you don't have to. If you are ready, then good luck.

I just think the reality is that after all suicide isn't straightforward, I also have the fear of ctb failing and I find it very cruel how as humans we are restricted the options of more peaceful and reliable methods to finally free ourselves from this existence. But anyway, I hope that when the time is right for you to leave, you find the freedom that you are searching for.
