I really want to slip into unconsciousness, I'm so scared of all the possible dangers out there. I can't seem to catch my breath and it has taken the joy out of everything. I can't enjoy anything anymore. I don't know why I'm supposed to be alive, why the world has to be so cruel, and the fact that I have it good compared to all the different kinds of animals out there

I'm scared of being alive and especially, of dying! It seems so hard and we don't know what the f*ck we'll encounter! Maybe an afterlife? Maybe nothing? Maybe find out we're in a simulation? Or we might be reborn as a cat and live 10 years luckily! Damn, just WTF is this universe!?

I understand....the world is cruel and scary, more so depending on where you live. Anxiety is horrible. You did not say if u were on any medications. They can help but be careful not to become dependent on them.

Anxiety is a terrible feeling. I spent nearly 2 years locked away because of it. You speaking about it now and here at this stage is much more then I was able to ever do, I tried a few things, lets not go there. Your find more help here then I ever did out there. You really are in the best place you can be here.

Agree with this. I think it is just anxiety. It really is the worst thing in this existence.

Same. The fact that there's no physical law that's stopping me from suffering some great misfortune like cancer or any of the other infinite nightmare possibilities. If you ask me, that we are guaranteed to die from the physical deterioration of aging (if we manage to avoid all other threats) is already a kind of nightmare.
