I think in this state of mind, if I had N or a gun right now I'd be dead tonight. It takes away some nerves, makes you sleepy but doesn't make you happy at all.

Yes, but it's only a 7 day script, and I wanted to see what it would do if I took it during the day.Is your Ambien generic? I took generic Ambien for the longest time and it was a godsend but then starting about three years ago or so, it totally stopped working. I've tried every generic brand I could get my hands on and none of it works. Other people report the same thing online.

This!! Ambien is such an amazing cheat. Honestly it probably saved my life so many times. "Fuck this, I'm going to bed".. definitely cheated through life and didn't learn how to face things lolFor people who know they want to leave but are unable to handle their survival instinct and the anxiety associated with it, this drug is a great (secret) cheat.
It's interesting that Ambien turns off your survival instinct. I've been trying to find a medication that accomplishes that when I need it to. Benzodiazepines, Lunesta, alcohol, and other GABA affecting drugs have seemed to help me. It's relieving to me that something like that exists. How would you compare it to other drugs that remove Si (benzodiazepines, alcohol etc)? That's odd. I've been using Ambien for more than 2 years and it still gives me euphoric feelings. As @CiproKilledMe said, Ambien is a great drug to get high and have a good time with but you need to be careful, it can make you addicted. I'm dependent on this drug due to severe insomnia, which has haunted me from an early age. For most of my life, I wasn't able to sleep properly and maintain a healthy sleep cycle due to strong depression- most of the time I'd get 4 hours sleep at max. Thanks to this drug I'm somewhat functional at the moment.
A great benefit of that drug, in my opinion, is that it completely turns off any(!) survival instinct so I'm probably gonna take a few pills of Ambien when I'm ready for my exit. For people who know they want to leave but are unable to handle their survival instinct and the anxiety associated with it, this drug is a great (secret) cheat. That's why I'm very confident when it comes to my exit because I know how to handle that survival instinct.
Did my whole 70mg
Still wide awake, wanted my nerves to go away, which it did, only thing that I didn't was the sleepyness feeling.Damn...that's gotta be some sort of record! What are you trying to accomplish with this (assuming you're still awake!)?
are you out of the hell? Because I've only recently just how deeply bad it is..I was prescribed this about ten years ago along with benzos and I would take the ambien during the day to control my severe anxiety. It worked far better than benzos for me and didn't make me sleepy just took away the extreme anxiety and gave me a somewhat normal life. However, all good things must come to an end. Tolerance eventually kicks in and then the real hell begins same with benzos. Please be careful. It is really dangerous and both drugs can seriously fuck up your brain.
Ive bitched about it on here before, but when I was TWELVE, my doctor put me on Adderall, TWO ambien a night and THREE Xanax a day. I'm 27 now and so badly want to sue the doctor that did this to me.Unfortunately, I cold turkey'd off of benzos and ambien and I think it fucked me forever but if you taper off, there's a good chance you won't cause severe damage. Check the Ashton protocol, there is a manual online that shows how to properly taper off if these drugs. I'm so sorry you're going through this. My doc also prescribed me insane amounts for years and should be locked up for it
