I try so hard to be happy and loving and I get shut down SO FAST. Whats the point of even trying?

My heart broke for you @rorrawrror reading your post as no one should have this happen period.

I have all my life tried to be so nice, helpful, and positive, and just like the other night, my next door neighbor, I live in a large apartment complex, opened her door to take out garbage and saw me. She quickly shut the door without saying anything and then after I closed my door, she came out. Now I have picked up shipping (orders) packages for her and put them at her door and got treated like this.

Then she saw me afterwards in the garage, could NOT get away from meeting me, put on a fake smile and said hi. I did not look at her or respond in any way and of course she did NOT like that one bit, go figure.

Crappy human nature at its finest!
