• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Here's the damage after a year of healing.

I'm about to start a job in the medical field... so I'll be wearing a short-sleeved scrub top... Is this hard to look at?

... Damn, do I really hate myself this much?View attachment 200966

See if they will let you were a thermal top under it. That's very common.

It's not that it's hard to look at--people in the medical field see worse all the time.

But you should be aware that there is a lot of stigma against mental illness in the medical field. If people ask, just tell them it was from a long time ago and that you've moved past it.

It would be good to start seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist on your own so that way if someone expresses concerns about your current mental health you have people to provide reassurance that you are being treated appropriately. (Don't volunteer this information unless asked.) If you're a doctor, nurse, or PA, your employer might try to refer you to a professional "monitoring" program if they have mental health concerns. Do not agree to this without speaking to a lawyer first. These programs treat everyone like a drug addict, extort you for tens of thousands of dollars, hold your career hostage, and will generally make your mental health a thousand times worse.

Hopefully no one will judge you or cause problems for you but be prepared to defend yourself if needed.
