Ratchet(s) here. And here's a pic of them. Waiting on cornhole bags for Night-Night and I'm out. Not long now.

It's just occurred to me that ctb has given me something to live for! I'm actually excited about something!

While the Night-Night method doesn't have the best track record, there's always a chance. Hope you find peace whatever you choose.

There are so many fantasists (fantasy is fine) on here: "I was going to ctb but then the doorbell rang." Very convenient! Well, maybe they "tried" Night-Night, but it's almost impossible for it not to work if you seriously cinch that ratchet (i.e. you aren't just attention-seeking, which is fine, on this website) before you pass out. It must be way superior to hanging, if you're serious about it.

Not saying it's impossible by any means, but the main problem that most people had was locating the carotid points on a consistent basis. Some would find them and report that they could bring themselves close to passing out, but had trouble reproducing the results consistently. I was personally never able to, but to be fair didn't put in a ton of time trying to do so either.

Ultimately it's up to you what method you choose and if you feel confident in it, that's all that matters.

i would say it might work, it doesn't have a lethal record like SN or N but it should work with training and i'm sure you will able to make it work with some effort if you hit the arteries and secure the ratchet it will be game over, have safe traveling

I wish you relief from your suffering in whatever you decide to do. I have never considered the night night method after I read about a failed attempt with it, but I guess that if it does work it is always an option for me. I'm sorry that it has come to this point for you.

As if anyone would remember this little thread months later, but I had an unexpected reprieve, so I'm still around. I'm back posting again because things are dipping low. Hard to judge, but there are both reasons to think this time is different and reasons to think this low is not "it".

Please don't reply to this. I'm kinda embarrased about still being here. If my parents were dead, I'd already be gone, that much I can at least say with certainty. As much as I love them, I increasingly wish they were dead and I were free.
