I'm already doing the final steps before death

Canceling all subscriptions, selling some of the stuff I own like videogame consoles and electronics, giving away clothes, etc. Even tho I don't have a date to ctb yet, I'm getting everything ready.

Everyday the intention grows bigger and by the time that final day arrives, I'd have already made full peace with my end

I am not the type to choose a date, I feel it ruins the experience. I await the day I decide enough is enough and I can simply quit while I'm ahead. Do you plan on picking a date at all? Just awaiting the intention to grow big enough?

I dont think I'll ever pick a specific date, I think one day I'll just snap and do it but before that I'll pick a method. Probably hanging or jumping

im in the process of doing all of that too. sometimes it feels like stalling instead of preparing but ill do whatever until the day comes i guess.

I think if I started purging items that family members know meant a lot to me, they'd suspect something was up. Maybe they wouldn't care… but one day if my antique car was gone they'd be surprised. I have issues planning for the future, mainly because I assume I don't have one. Maybe I don't care what happens to my stuff when I'm dead? I had to go through my parent's belongings when they died. Maybe that's selfish but then again all of this is when you think about it long enough.

I've been doing that - I've been working on getting down to the bare amount of stuff I'd want if I have a failed attempt and don't want to be left with nothing but I won't feel as bad bc it's not a lot of stuff for someone to figure out - it's helping me in my process with coming to terms with it & makes me feel better making it easier for those having to clean up my affairs

I think people in my life would be suspicious if I started to give away some of my favourite belongings. I do plan on donating some of my wardrobe before I ctb. Anything expensive I have, can be sold by my relatives if they decide. I'll reset some of my stuff before I ctb so someone else can have it or sell.

I don't care what happens to my stuff afterwards. I plan to leave a journal of kind notes to some of my relatives before I pass away along with a photo album somewhere accessible for them to find it.

That's very thoughtful of you. Someone in my family will have to figure all that out, I guess.
