" Oh, She was a victim of sweet suicide"

I've been talking to that girl that I mentioned on my last post, we've been doing okay but today she acted a little weird so I started to suppose that she didn't liked me at all.
I asked and surprisingly she said that she still likes me!! I'm afraid that the insecurities I have due my BPD could ruin it, or make her get sick of me because unfortunately I'm really clingy and paranoic...

You are a really nice, good hearted person, and good things happen to nice people. You will do fine, heck I have paranoia also, so i have at least somewhat of a idea of what you are going through and again you will do great. You aresuch a wonderful person that the girl will be able to see it also. All the best to you my great global family member!

It can be a bit of a risk, but sometimes telling another person some of the issues you are working on can establish a level of understanding. For example, if you were to say, "I know I can appear intense to others and I try to back off if I come across that way. However, I am afraid that if I back off, that the other person might feel that I have lost interest in them. Could you help me work on this by letting me know if I need to back off or come closer?"

Saying things like this can appear clumsy and awkward, but it can also open a level of understanding that may avoid decisions made in silence.
