If you could go back in time could you prevent yourself from wanting to CTB?

No. The crap that happened was out of my control. My better bet would be to go back further and beg my parents not to have children.

Choosing to go back is certainly tempting ... but I see no reason to do it. There's no guarantee I can prevent myself from becoming suicidal, I would have to give myself an extra portion of life to live through (not even mentioning it is near-exact same to past, resulting in extreme boredom), and even if I could prevent myself from being suicidal, I would eventually do it at a later point or just slave away without understanding the intrinsics of life.
