I think I would be a leather recliner so that no matter how used it got, how battered, how many times sat on, scratched, torn, reclined up and down and up and down - i would still somehow fit and serve a purpose. How cool is this magnetic bed?! saw it at a design indaba ages ago & it blew my mind! Super-impractical (where dyou hide whatever you hide beneath the matress?

One that is very sturdy and rough, with cushions just to give you an illusion you are in for a smooth ride. It cometh apart at the edges if you move too much.
Seriously, I love rough beds with strong springs and not this present-day soft, "memory foam" madness.
