  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Research suggests that we are only conscious of making a decision a few seconds after we've made it.

When you shoot yourself in the head successfully, you die before the nerve from your finger can inform your brain that the trigger was pulled.

So does this mean someone who dies by this method never knows, even for a nanosecond, that they've pulled the trigger? They made a decision that they will never know they made?

Ive kindaa.. Wondered the same thing, but I also see some sci-fi involved sooo.. Idk, but once the deal is Done? Idk if, whatever .01 / .5, 1 sec will relay back saying you pulled the trigger? Idk, but it kinda freaks me the Fck out and something Ive had fleeting thoughts about, nothing to dwell / worry per say.

Yes, you are aware the trigger has been pulled because you have to actively pull that trigger. Will you remember it or still be aware 3 seconds later? Odds are no unless you miss or royally screw your aim up/use the wrong type of gun or ammo. But you are aware that you pulled the trigger in the moment, of course, as to pull that trigger you have to have awareness. It's more that you won't be aware of it for more than a split second or so unless something goes horribly wrong.
