If you lived in an earlier epoch which would have been your role?

Honestly, I don't know how my ancestors survived. My grandma was insane severe bipolar. I wonder how she survived the Third Reich. She cheated on my granddad allegedly and had drug filled parties with men. There are some narratives about my other granddad in WW2 who he never hurt anyone. I doubt that narrative. Many German soldiers pretended something like that.
I suspect there was a lot of traumata in the lives of my ancestors.

I think with my conditions I would have died pretty early. With psychosis I might could have been a magician or they would have burnt me alive. But this would have been in the Middle Ages.

In agrarian societies. I think I would have been of literally no use. Other people could have killed me for entertainment.

With my horrendous genes how on earth have these people survived and procreated? How??? I really don't get it. I think I am an opportunist to a certain degree. I have some unpleasant character traits I share with my dad. I would be interested to know the actual truth how my ancestors behaved during the Third Reich. I could imagine they were pretty evil. I am a very moralistic person and these people are susceptible for black white ideologies. I think they were probably sheep and feared only for their own asses. And this is how they made it through.

Depending on social status and time period I think I would have been sold as an eccentric but pretty and fertile wife in a more or less arranged marriage to a violent man and would have worked as a weaver, or I would have pursued an education, chosen an educated man to marry, and would have done intellectual work for him uncredited. As a woman I don't really see any realistic life path that doesn't involve centering a misogynist man lol

Lol if you had a choice in what characteristics your wife had I think you'd be wealthy enough to eat better food than just archaic sandwiches

I suspect I'd just try to comply with whatever was asked of me job-wise but, hate it just as much. I think I'd be even more miserable in earlier eras, if there were more pressures to comply with prescribed femimine attire. Earlier than that though- more tribal living, I think I'd be some sort of builder, rather than a hunter, farmer or cook.

I would have been sold to a guy and farm aimlessly for the rest of my life. If I was well off, maybe I'd be a builder, maybe a philosopher or writer for the short-lived royal family? I believe I'd be quite insufferable as I would be opinionated, but I'd do what I could to develop my society. I doubt I would make it far, I'd probably suffer as a wife like the other women here.

I'm probably living the best life possible for a woman in all of history, and i'm still not happy.

I am a pretty femm guy so I would hope for greece or Rome I suppose, probably end up as a thing for men
