Yeah i know its a weird fetish and most people wih this fetish are creepy old man not all of then but most. And im only 21
Do you believe it's worth seeking out the men with this interest who are closer to your age? If not, that's understandable. I get that it doesn't seem like it'll be easy to find someone like this.

I think I can understand what you're feeling. I'm so sorry for you. Life is cruel. I don't know this problem that much but I hope there will be solutions in the future. Is it an hormonal stuff or?

Thank you for your honesty
I am very sorry that this is your reality. I hope no-one misunderstands me. I'm not very resilient in the face of obstacles myself, so death, to me at least, will always be a top-tier solution.

I knew a person in school who smelled absolutely abysmal. Like old used diapers, piss, burned tires, plus some other nasty things combined. You could literally enter a classroom and smell whether or not that person had been in the room. Her smell was so strong that the whole fucking classroom stunk the rest of the day once she had been there. If I hadn't witnessed it myself, I could have never believed anyone can smell so strongly or badly.

Well, I still befriended her even if her smell made me want to puke, though we didn't hang out outside school, but in school. That was until she started trying to make me join some stupid religion and I wasn't interested.

I wasn't her only friend either, and I really wondered how she was able to have other friends when she smelled so bad and so strongly.

If it's something like excessive sweating, it usually gets better with age. Some meds can cause smell too. And socially stressful situations.
Did you tell your friend that dhe smells?
Life is cruel. Only you can decide what you want to do. But nobody deserves this. So sorry.
Thank you

Ive already asked this question before but im feeling unwell i need to ask again. If you had a condition that made you smell so bad but the condition will never go away and the smell is so strong that no one want to be around you and you will have the condition for the rest of your life. Would you kill yourself? Please be honest i want to hard truth. I wont be offended.

To varying degrees this happens to all very old humans . Metabolic process have to be just right for mammals to smell good.

Didnt bring it up with my therapist and yeah there are communitys but im so deep into this hole that i will be killing myself tomorrow

I had it when i first hit puberty so around 10 all those hormonal changes you knoe

I dont take meds and its not only from sweating but sweating made it worst also im a woman so yeah and im socially awkward so i dont really talk to anyone and its making me less approachable

Maybe it's something you eat? Or stress and trauma? Some people stress sweat a lot any time in any social event. I've noticed I sweat a lot less when I don't have anything social going on.

I know it can be really troubling and I wish people realized that some people are clean but can't help sweating and smelling a lot. When I was a teen I'd take like three showers a day and still be sweaty all the time because fuck school. For some people, the second they are anxious or stressed they sweat and smell, kinda like a skunk, some sort of defense mechanism maybe. And then when they sweat and smell, they get even more stressed, and sweat and smell more. It's unfortunate.

Oh, and always shave off your armpit hair. I've noticed that no amount of washing and soap can get the smell off of armpit hair. Shave it off once a month or something.

I hope you can find a solution. And remember, it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself.

Thank you

I thought that would have been really rude and I thought she knew but couldn't do anything about it. Like maybe she didn't have shower and clean water or something. Or had a medical condition.

It comes from my stomach it affect my breath mostly right now because i live in an cold area so i do sweat but not anymore but when i lived in a hotter area the sweat was also very very bad.
It comes from the gut so yeah what you eat does affect im a vegan now it used to help but now my body adapted to it so it doesnt help anymore lol. It gave me an eating disorder instead. I dont even know what to do anymore. This is shy dead is the only option lol.

About that friend. Well i cant judge you because if i was you i wouldnt say anything either but with my situation right now if someone comes up to me in private and ask me whats going on i would explain it i mean i would love to explain it cause that means there is one less person judging me you know. But it depends on hoe close youre with them.
Have a great day!

Keep a diary. Take note of if some foods make you smell worse or make your tummy more upset. Do you have a metallic taste in your mouth? It was a sign of something, I don't remember what right now. Infection or something maybe. Also, floss your teeth. It hurts a lot at first, but just do it at least weekly, preferably a few times a week. It helps a lot. You don't need to floss your whole mouth, even just a bit helps a lot.

I'm a vegetarian and don't have any smelling problems related to diet. Maybe there could be threads about similar issues on vegan subreddits? Maybe it's a vitamin tablet you take? Or lack of vitamins? You could try searching on vegan subreddits.

I'm sorry you have an eating disorder. I think it's important to listen to your body and eat what it needs. If you have a craving for a food that's usually a sign you need that food. I used to have a huge craving for milk, turned out to be a lack of iodine. Eat different things. I was like "Oh, I eat healthy because I'm a vegetarian!" but then I realized that even though I ate mainly only fruits and vegetables my diet was very limited. So I started adding different salads, different seeds, different fruits. Make your diet varied. And don't take stress from eating. Don't make eating feel like work.

And make sure you get enough iodine and salt and magnesium etc.

I understand. I'd actually prefer if I could do that, but of course I don't want to hurt feelings or be rude. And tbh, I know if someone told to my face that I smell bad I'd get really angry and hurt. No one chooses to smell bad. Or at least I'd like to think so.

Thanks! I hope you find a solution that works for you!

Why does this reply quote show different text from your actual post? No, I don't live in the Netherlands. I live in Northern Europe.

It's good your blood test was okay.

If you really crave something all the time, it's almost certainly a lack of something that is in eggs and fish. I suggest either taking them until the craving goes away, or if you really can't, try to find alternatives. Fish and eggs contain so many things that it's almost better for a body to eat them a bit than to try and find alternatives.

Maybe something that only contains a bit of fish and egg? Like in meds, they sometimes hide them in food to make it easier to eat. My dog had some meds she hated but with good enough food she didn't even notice they were there. And as for me, I hate mämmi (it's a traditional food that looks like shit and tastes like shit) so I just pour lots of cream and ice-cream onto it to eat it.

Oh, and if you have a lack of appetite, it's a lack of salt. And most likely also zinc. I have recently went a lot between "I don't want to eat anything" to "I want to eat everything" and back based on whether I've taken salt and zinc or not.

If your fingers are plump it's a lack of iodine. Lack of iodine makes fingers go wider for some reason. I've read depressed people can need up to two times more magnesium than non-depressed people. So make sure you get enough magnesium.

I hate how complicated eating food is. I read books where people live 500 years without eating anything and I wish I could do the same. I feel the more I think about eating the more stressful it gets.

Oh, btw, if you want to try, sesame seeds are good, they contain a lot of healthy things.

sounds like that condition where you snell like
fish for no reason.

Do I want to be around someone who smells like fish but can't help it? Yes, I wouldn't mind knowing that that person has a condition.

Based on that, no, I wouldn't kill myself solely because of smellingike fish for no reason, as long as I can have understanding people around me.
I know but still i need a job a need affection i need friends i would never live a normal life
If you can't get a job or make friends because of it, I understand why that makes you suicidal.

Everyone have a reaction to the smell, no one would be able stand being around you. People try there best to get you as far away from them as possible and how can you get everyone to be understanding of your condition? Will you go up to every person you see on the bus or in the grocery store and tell them about why you smell? No you wouldnt. People just assume and judge and push you away. Even your family is embarrassed to tell you.
