• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Would it not be unfair to the driver (and potential passengers)?

You mean, to get run over by a train? It would be fast and painless. A head-on collision would be good, too. You wouldn't feel a thing.

Hanging. There's a reason its been used for centuries in executions, and still used today in many places like Japan etc.

I second hanging. Read about train suicide lethality being anywhere from 71% to 90%.

It's remarkable it isn't a 100. There was a use in here that survived a hit. But if you're directly on the tracks it seems certain

Could i say the same for family members if you were to CTB in your home
Yes and no. when done correctly (i.e., leaving a notice, calling police ahead of time, etc.,) they will not be the ones finding your body.

I wouldn't try suicide by train, because the sucess rate is not high enough and if you survive you are certainly badly injured. Hanging is much more reliable and should be accessible enough.

Depends, they're two different types of trauma, gore and grief, both equally powerful

Hanging is rather accessible is it not? When I was 15, I bought a rope from Amazon. I was an indoor cat and the curtain rails were too shallow so I wasn't able to succeed but I'm sure if you go to any woods in the countryside that'd be enough.

Ah I misread your comment
