My father committed suicide and nobody cared, there were no tears at the funeral. Even a psychologist couldn't bring herself to give a shit or atleast act like she cares that someone died. I don't even want to say what others said about my father because it's traumatizing how cruel are people. For me it was more traumatizing how much people didn't care than my fathers suicide. I knew my father is going to commit suicide and i tried to make him go to a psychologist but the abuse he endured from my mother was too much to ever heal, he was poor too so he couldn't divorce, he didn't have where to go.

So if you are afraid what people will say, they'll say shit as always no matter what so don't worry, they won't care. Talking shit and hating and not caring is human nature.

Yes that's what I'm saying. Good people are rare and becoming rarer. Most people will never encounter these unicorns.

The way that I see it, it does not matter what others say after we die as we will not be there to see it. All life is so meaningless and temporary and eventually we will all die and be forgotten about. I do not understand why someone would be afraid of what people are saying after they die, as we simply will not exist. It cannot possibly matter to us. We cannot think or feel once we are dead.

I could never get past the alienation part in my life when I should have made close friends in school etc.

If they hated him alive, that wont change when he is dead. I hope when I die the little few people who care for me will keep on living a normal life. I trully hope they can remember with love, but if that is not possible, just forget me.

The cruel reality is that people only care about suicide from young people. Older people actually have much higher suicide rates, but it rarely goes to the media.

Sorry, but I don't feel this to really be true. It's too generalized. Plenty of older people who have people that care about them that would be traumatized by their loved one's suicide.

Unfortunately, that's the experience I had and I extrapolated from it. I hope I'm wrong, but in the cases that happened around me, people didn't show much sympathy for the older ones.

I guess all of our life experiences are different.

After all, we're all from different places in this enormous world, we grew up in different environments and cultures, we're from different socioeconomic realities, etc.

Yet, we're all here, because we're all human and suffer from the same predicament and considering the same ending. Isn't it interesting?

Not to mention, if you remain alive and your family member passes away, there will be a lot of pain and grieving regardless. Death is inevitable and we're all going to die one day.

If it's the former, because life just feels like it drags on, especially when you are miserable. It sucks, but that's how it is.
