We know that pro lifers are going hard on getting that website closed , if they were sucessful, would it be the straw that broke the camel's back and you would CTB because we cannot gather here together to share our thoughts.

We know that for some of us , that website is very important. The only place to say the cold hard truth without being judged.

For me its a big yes. Being alone without people that is like me would be unbearable.

I'm not sure if I would CTB but I would definitely hold a huge grudge against them. Since they wanna have their cake and eat it to by saying "ohhh, we wanna prevent suicide!" and then make society so miserable that people have literally nothing to do other than work a miserable job to make the elites richer.

Fs I'm glad this place exists, the forum has given me peace in knowing that im not the only one in this. If they close it they're solely doing it doing quiet their "conscious" it pisses me off so much that people only think in terms of societal norms and associations. Closing it down won't change my plans it'll just make me feel all alone again.

If I had an reliable suicide plan where I could just choose to leave without complications then I wouldn't even be on this site, I wouldn't have any need for it. The fact that suicide is just too difficult and inaccessible is what has always kept me trapped here in this dreadful and futile existence, sadly suicide just isn't as straightforward as just choosing to be gone, I bet that if suicide was much easier it would be such a relief for so many suffering people.

It would primarily depend on my current state and health condition then whether I ctb or not. I have to admit that SS helped a bit not to CTB right away among other stuff stopping me. SS is such a great refuge fo so mayn people ouit there who have no other chance to talk about their true thoughts, desires and their very personal problems that for many of us are almost unsolvable. It's such a great relief to be able to talk about such stuff freely without being judged!

It wouldn't be the prime motivator. It wouldn't necessarily quicken my action. Still- it would make me very lost, upset and lonely until I do CTB.

Getting sites like this shut down won't stop people killing themselves. Those keen to find more peaceful methods will find something on the internet to point them in the right direction. Hell- there are even police reports about SN online! It may not be quite so easy to access and all in one place but people are resourceful.

If they take away the peaceful methods- people will choose violent ones. Bit like paraphrasing that line in Star Wars- the more society tightens its grip- the more people will slip through its fingers.

I wish SOMEONE would recognize the peer support element to this site one day.

Idk if I'd ctb sooner but it would ensure that I am alone when I do. This site is one of very few sources of solace in my small, sad world.

I don't actually know, I don't think it would change any plans but even though I've only been here for a short time I would go back to feeling incredibly isolated and stuck feeling alone, even if it were to be shut down it wouldn't change anything in the bigger picture, people are still going to feel the same way if not worse and people would be ctb in more unreliable painful ways,. I reckon if it were to be shut down something similar would arise and everyone would go there to feel the sense of community among other people who feel the same

No. It would make me more likely to ctb in the future though. SS can often act as a pressure valve for me, having to constantly pretend makes everything build and build and this is the only place where it can safely release. Without it that isolation would keep getting worse which might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. It wouldn't be the reason I died but it would no longer have the opportunity to be the reason I didn't.

The party tries to prevent you from CTB'ing at all costs because if you die without being brainwashed, you effectively "win" and become a martyr. Sadly, that doesn't happen for our buddy Winston...
