• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Honestly, I think for me the answer is clear. The moderators. It is a job full of responsibilities and not much rewards. Instead one has to settle disputes. Always getting shit from other people. Good compromises sometimes mean that both sides aren't fully happy with the final decisions. I don't know all the moderators. But during my 5,5 years on here most of my interactions with them were very kind. I think I would not be fit for this job. Maybe they work best when they are invisible. But actually this can mean not many people acknowledhe their hard work.

If we go strictly by the members tab. Members with the most posts, likes, solutions get mentioned. Weirdly enough not the members with the most birthdays within one year.

I definitely don't envy the mods job on here.
With such a sensitive topic, keeping everything in workable and "legally gray" order sure as hell is a sisyphean task.
So yes, if anyone actually needs a sincere pat on the back, it's the mods.
